Fall 2020 Softball Squads

Registration closes today

We will be continuing our Fall Practice Squads at William S. Craycraft Park (Alicia Fields) starting Monday, August 31, 2020! The program is open for 6U-14U players. Players joining our 6U division must be at least 5 years old. The practices will run through the 3rd week of November.

*Slots will be issued on a first come, first serve basis. We have limited field space therefore space will be LIMITED. There will be a maximum of 12 per practice squad (9 per squad for 6u). **NO REFUNDS**

*Practices: One weekday practice: 60mins for 6u; 90mins for 8u-14u. At the option of your coach, there may also be one Saturday practice. Practice Days and GENERAL time frames are as follows and ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE:
6u: Tuesdays 4:30-5:30
8u: Mondays 4:30-6:30
10u: Thursdays 6:00-8:00
12u: Wednesdays 6:00-8:00
14u: Tuesdays 7:00-9:00
**Time frames allow for staggered arrivals and departures.
**Coaches may option a different practice day if the schedule allows

*Games: No games will be permitted at this time.

*Uniforms (included with registration): All divisions will receive a MVGS t-shirt (IF registered by 9/15) and a face mask/covering.

*Placement Process: Current practice groups will remain the same. New players will be added to new groups or groups with available space.

*Play-up requests are only allowed from the 6U to 8U division. These will be contingent upon space availability AND approval by our board of directors. We encourage all to stay in their age appropriate division. However, if you would like to petition to have your daughter evaluated, please email

Mission Viejo Girls Softball (MVGS) is an USA affiliated Junior Olympic FASTPITCH SOFTBALL recreation league. The league draws primarily from the cities of Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch, and surrounding communities in South Orange County in Southern California.

MVGS is a non-governmental and non-profit organization operated by volunteers and funded by business and private donations.
